This sculptural candle, hand-molded using the hand-dipped technique, features six individual flames, each meticulously crafted and then assembled into a set that mimics the gentle, flowing movement of waves.
Each flame has a burn time ranging from 7 to 15 hours, depending on its curvature and size, giving the candle a unique and ever-changing personality as it burns. In addition to its artistic design, the candle is infused with geranium essential oil, adding a soft and relaxing fragrance to the environment.
This blend of form, function, and fragrance makes each candle a unique piece that not only illuminates but also decorates and scents the space, making it an ideal object for personal use or as a gift. The craftsmanship behind each piece ensures that no two candles are alike
About the Artist
Antonia Bozzo, a designer from Universidad Católica, explores capturing movement in static objects. Through her candle-making project, Aklara uses the ancient dipping technique to create intertwined candles that each maintain their own unique flame path.
